Our public courses are restricted to small numbers of participants, normally a maximum of 15, but often fewer, so you will have plenty of opportunity to interact with the course tutor to ensure that you get the most from the course and have all of your questions answered.
All of our courses are taught by highly skilled bioinformatics with many years of experience using the skills taught in the course. They have highly relevant expertise beyond the direct topics of the course and are happy to share as much information as possible with you during the taught sessions. This is your opportunity to get the most out of these courses as you can.
All of our courses feature a mix of taught theory alongside practical sessions where you get to try out the skills you have been taught. Our aim is that you should be able to apply the skills from the course straight away on your own data.
Courses are simple to attend - they are taught over zoom and you generally don't need to install any software onto your machine. We provide cloud servers with all software and data which you can access through a web browser.
Coming on a course is not the end of the support we provide for you. We want everyone who comes on our courses to make use of what they have learned. You will be given the contact details of the course trainer and you can interact with them after the course to clarify anything about the course, or resolve issues which arise when you come to putting it into practice.
