Information we hold about you

Cookies

Our site uses cookies to enable account management when you log in to the site.

Currently the only cookie we use on the site is the essential login cookie, without which you will not be able to log in to the site.

Your information held by third parties

If you attend one of our online courses then we make recordings of the taught part of the courses available to you after the course has finished. These recordings are held on a third party site (currently dropbox) and passed to you via a link. We do not distribute these recordings to anyone other than those who attended the course, but we cannot guarantee that these files will not be redistributed by other people who have access to them.

The recordings may feature your name (if it appears in your zoom profile), and your face and voice (if your camera or microphone are on). We cannot remove individual attendees from these videos so if you wish to not appear we suggest you do not enable your camera on the course and you change your name on your profile after the course has started.

What we do with your data

Mostly, the data we hold on you is used to provide you with access to a record of the courses you have attended, or to give you details for how to attend courses for which you have registered. We also use it to suggest other courses which you might find relevant when you view the site. If you have specifically requested to be informed about newly created dates for a particular course we will email you when these are created.

If you have elected to recevied additional emails from us we will also send you occasional emails highlighting new courses or offers we have produced. You can opt out of these additional emails at any time by either using the link on the bottom of each email, or by editing your account details on the site.

We use aggregate anonymised data from our site to track the popularity of courses and to identify problems on the site. None of this activity is linked to your account.
